We've got two of these, a black one inside, and a "natural oil" (which is just the reddish wood color with some kind of nice protective oil finish on it) out on the porch. They were both easy to build, just a few pieces to put together, took about 20 mins for the first one, 15 for the second. They don't make a sound when we rock, and they seem to be super sturdy. Very hard to get out of them because they're so comfortable and they'll make you want to cancel your plans for the weekend, pour a drink, grab a book or the laptop and waste the day away. I've recommended them to friends and I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for a real sturdy rocking chair that is built to be used and abused.

I bought this piece for my 85 year old father to prop his feet.Nope - didn't use it outside but it works perfectly! ! Absolutely wonderful piece - light weight, beautiful fabric, and looks great in his living room. I would buy this piece myself.
It's not too hard to assemble. I assembled it without power tool or help. Make sure that you have a hammer before you started. Usually a city girl doesn't have a hammer at home, but a city girl definitely needs a shoes cabinet like this. Now the entrance of my door is clear! The shoes cabinet seems very durable. It doesn't have the look that you feel it's going to fall apart. Well, it's two hundred something after tax and shipping. It better lasts! The only thing I'm not happy about is there are some defects on the surface of the cabinet. It seems that some board got hit during the transportation. After I assembled the whole thing, one of the drawer's eage and a little area of the bottom of the side board looked chipped. Since I paid more than $50 for shipping and handling, I should have gotten a better deliver service! Well, I guess those deliver mem don't care. I thought of complaint, but I wouldn't want to get a new set and assemble again...
I just recieved my fireplace today7/23/08 :)as soon as we got it we put it on the KITCHEN WALL. as easy as hanging a picture :) :) it looks BEAUTIFUL!!i can't wait til a chilly Christmas morning :)
These cushions are really comfy, and I instantly loved their bright fun colours. They were slightly fatter than I'd expected, which makes for difficult storing in a small Manhattan apartment - but if you don't have the same space constraints, they are great looking and very comfortable.
An attractive piece, functional, sturdy and solid wood.We've gotten a number of compliments on it, and it's great for storing hats, gloves, frisbees, etc. while still having a place to sit, take off your shoes and hang up your coat.
I bought two of these chairs last year for my husband for Father's Day.We kept them out during the summer on our deck and enjoyed them throughout the season.During the winter months, we stored both chairs in our shed.This year when we brought them out we were not happy with what happened during the first use of each chair.My mother sat down in the chair and promptly fell through to the deck underneth her.The strapping which runs through the wood slats had literally rotted away.The same thing happened to me a week later when I went to sit in the other chair for the first time.My husband was able to fix the chairs by affixing a nylon climbing strap to the underside of each slat.The wood the chairs are made of has not weathered very nicely either.It has turned a nice gray patina which is what I expected.However, it is rough on the arm rests and in certain places has cracked and split.For chairs that are advertised as being able to be outside, I would expect better weathering.These chairs are certainly not worth the price and I would look into returning them if so much time had not passed.
