We've got two of these, a black one inside, and a "natural oil" (which is just the reddish wood color with some kind of nice protective oil finish on it) out on the porch. They were both easy to build, just a few pieces to put together, took about 20 mins for the first one, 15 for the second. They don't make a sound when we rock, and they seem to be super sturdy. Very hard to get out of them because they're so comfortable and they'll make you want to cancel your plans for the weekend, pour a drink, grab a book or the laptop and waste the day away.
